Why am I here? At heart, it’s to do work that helps people be more informed, more confident in pursuing their dreams and accomplish more for others and for themselves.
How do I do that today? I’m an editor of B2B email publications giving need-to-know information to select audiences. My publications include the SmartBrief on Leadership email newsletter and blog. Through this job, I can help companies succeed in digital media in a variety of ways, whether it’s bringing the editorial perspective to sales and content marketing campaigns, managing social media accounts or maximizing the value of trade association partnerships.
I also started blogging occasionally for Lead Change.
Outside of SmartBrief, I’m also available for copy-editing and proofreading assignments, particularly in the B2B space. Email me for rates and availability.

More background: I started off as a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund copy-editing intern at the Star-Tribune in Minneapolis. My first full-time role was as a copy editor, then copy desk chief, at a daily rural newspaper in New York. In 2009, I moved to D.C. to become a copy editor at SmartBrief, becoming an editor in 2011 and a senior editor late that same year.
